Foot Reflexology · Salt Lake City
Who runs the reflexology hour on State Street, what we will and will not claim for it, and why this service has a site of its own.

Reflexology arrives with a credibility problem attached, and the practitioners are not the ones who caused it. The culprit is a diagram. Somewhere online there is a picture of a sole with organs printed across it and a promise underneath, and anyone who has seen that picture opens a page like this one already braced for nonsense.
So the position of this site, stated once and then applied to every page on it. The technique is genuine, it is centuries old, and sixty minutes of it is profoundly relaxing. The traditional map assigns regions of the foot to regions of the body, and a great many people do feel the hour somewhere other than their feet. That is where the claims end. Nothing described here cures, treats, diagnoses or manages a condition, and none of it substitutes for a physician. Should any sentence on this site start sounding like a promise of more than relief, we wrote it poorly.
Elite Spa Utah is the company. J Massage LLC is the operator. The building sits at 1136 S State Street, Salt Lake City. Bodywork is the entire business. Alongside this hour the menu carries the Japanese head spa, deep tissue, Swedish, sports, shiatsu, ashiatsu, prenatal, four-hands and couples sessions. Utah licenses every therapist who works here, and each appointment happens behind a door that closes.
It is worth ruling out what we do not do, since spa can mean almost anything locally. Skin work is not on offer at this address in any form. No facials, no peels, no injectables, no lasers, no cosmetic or medical aesthetics whatsoever. Somebody looking for a facial should look elsewhere, and learning that on this page beats learning it after the drive.
This service has a site of its own because the demand for it arrives under two different names. One group types foot massage, in plain English, because their feet hurt and they want somebody to fix that tonight. The other group types reflexology, because they know what the discipline is called and want the full version of it instead of ten minutes bolted onto the end of something else. Both groups want the identical appointment. Buried in a menu of ten services, that appointment answers neither of them well. On this site it is the only thing being answered.
Google shows 4.8 across 249 reviews for the business. That figure goes here instead of a curated handful of compliments, and the reviews page names all three of the reviews we publish, quotes their words, and points you at Google for the complete texts.
The practical part is short. One length, sixty minutes. One price, $85. Cupping or hot stones add $20 each. CBD or half an hour in the infrared sauna adds $30. Gift cards can be loaded with anything from $25 to $500, send instantly, and have no expiry date. Open from ten each morning until ten each night, all week, with the building's own parking lot outside.
There is a sister studio, J Massage SLC, under the same ownership. Reflexology is offered here on State Street.
Anything this site fails to answer is a question for a human being. Use the number at the top.

"A beautiful new spa with lots of modalities to choose from. My therapist knew exactly which muscles to massage and stretch, very professional. Pick this place, you will not be disappointed."

"Spotless, and all the staff were very nice. We set an appointment for a couples massage and they had a nice two-bed room ready when we arrived. Highly recommend."
